Voor mijn serie "A Taste of Quiet fotografeer" licht ik gerechten voor het kookboek van Quiet Roosendaal uit. Een kookboek waarin eten eigenlijk maar een deel van het verhaal is. Het gaat over mensen, ontmoeten, delen en gezien worden.
Met A Taste of Quiet wil ik juist dát laten zien: eten als iets wat mensen dichter bij elkaar brengt. Een gedekte tafel, een gerecht dat met aandacht is gemaakt, even aanschuiven. Soms zit maatschappelijke impact namelijk niet in iets groots, maar gewoon in een bord eten en een plek voor iemand aan tafel.
